On 30 October, Keytech Intelligence launches Keytech Core at the Lawyers Weekly LawTech: AI Summit. Our CEO and co-founder Luke Lispet will speak to the room about why the legal profession needs AI it can actually govern. I will then take the stage as CTO to launch the platform live, run it under pressure and show the controls working in real time. Summit details: https://www.lawyersweekly.com.au/lawtech-ai/
Why launch at a legal summit
Law firms hold some of the most sensitive information in the country. Privileged advice, family matters, commercial secrets, veteran claims and criminal files all sit inside practice systems that were never designed for AI. Firms want the productivity. They cannot afford the exposure. The Law Council of Australia has been clear that professional obligations do not pause because a tool is new: https://lawcouncil.au/
What Keytech Core is
Keytech Core is our sovereign AI platform and application for the legal industry. It is built on the same engineering discipline we apply to veteran data through Valour Keystone, and it runs on Australian owned, Australian hosted infrastructure through our tier one partnership with Macquarie Cloud Services: https://macquariecloudservices.com
In plain terms, Keytech Core lets a firm put AI to work on its own documents and matters while keeping three things under control: where the data lives, who and what can touch it, and a full record of what happened.
The platform is designed around the advice the Australian Signals Directorate published in its alert on protecting organisations' AI services: https://www.cyber.gov.au/about-us/view-all-content/alerts-and-advisories/protect-your-organisations-ai-services
That means AI access treated as a security asset, strong identity for every user and every agent, supplier access that is scoped and logged, spending limits that stop runaway usage, and an audit trail a partner can hand to a regulator or a client. It also aligns with the Essential Eight: https://www.cyber.gov.au/business-government/asds-cyber-security-frameworks/essential-eight
Why a live stress test
Slides are easy. Systems under load are honest. I spent 12 years in the Royal Australian Air Force and trained as a mechanical fitter, and both taught me the same lesson: you prove a structure by loading it, not by describing it. On 30 October we will push Keytech Core in front of the people who would use it, and let them see where it holds.
