AI Usage

AI Usage Policy

Deep Tech Australia uses AI tools the same way we use search engines, code editors and reference libraries — as instruments in the hands of an accountable human. AI tools do not replace editorial judgement, sourcing or authorship.

Where AI is used

AI tools may be used to draft internal notes, summarise long source material, generate transcripts, refine language and produce illustrative diagrams. Every published piece is written or materially rewritten and reviewed by a named human contributor.

Where AI is not used

We do not publish AI-generated articles under a human byline as if a human wrote them. We do not use AI to fabricate quotes, sources or events. We do not use AI-generated imagery to depict real people, real incidents or real evidence.

Transparency

Where AI produced a diagram, transcript or summary that is materially part of a piece, we say so. Corrections, disclosures and rights of reply apply to AI-assisted content the same way they apply to any other work.
