Corrections
Corrections Policy
Errors of fact are corrected promptly and transparently. When we correct a piece, the article's dated correction note describes what changed and why. Substantive corrections may prompt a re-review of related articles.
How to report an error
Email the editorial desk with the article URL, the passage in question and the correction you propose, ideally with a source. We respond to correction requests within five business days.
What we correct
We correct factual errors, misattributed quotes, broken links, and materially misleading framing. Editorial opinion, clearly labelled analysis, and disagreements about interpretation are not corrections; readers are welcome to respond in a letter or contributed reply.
Right of reply
Named organisations or individuals who dispute a substantive claim are offered a right of reply. Replies are edited for length and clarity, not for viewpoint.
