Editorial Policy
Editorial Policy
Deep Tech Australia publishes independent analysis, commentary, interviews and research on artificial intelligence, cyber security, sovereign technology, cloud architecture and digital governance. We aim to publish useful, technically grounded work that serves practitioners, decision-makers and the broader Australian technology ecosystem.
Commissioning
Articles are commissioned or accepted by an editor. Contributors are chosen for relevant technical, operational or research expertise. External contributions are subject to the same standards as staff pieces.
Sourcing and evidence
Claims of fact are attributed. Frameworks and reference architectures are drawn from real programs. Where we rely on primary sources, we say so; where we rely on secondary reporting, we cite it. When our thinking changes we update the piece and note the change.
Review and editing
Every article passes through editorial review for accuracy, clarity, source integrity and legal risk. Anonymous sources are used only where identified sources are unavailable and the information is materially in the public interest.
Independence
We are not a vendor blog. We do not accept payment for editorial placement. Sponsored, commissioned or partner-supported content is clearly labelled and separated from independent editorial.
Author disclosures
Contributors' commercial and professional affiliations are shown on their author page. Articles that touch on organisations, products or sectors where an author affiliation may be material carry an article-level disclosure.
Corrections
Errors of fact are corrected promptly and transparently. See our Corrections policy.
